समाज के वंचित वर्गों पर विशेष ध्यान देने के साथ-साथ आकांक्षियों को समानता के साथ उच्च शिक्षा की सुविधा के माध्यम से स्वयं को देश के अग्रणी उच्च शिक्षण संस्थानों में से एक संस्थान के रूप में स्थापित करना।

Mission / लक्ष्य

• To promote excellence in teaching-learning and research by creating a conducive academic environment for the stakeholders;
• To provide quality teaching – learning in such branches of learning which foster scientific temper, global competence and instill value system in the students
• To provide entree to quality higher education with even-handedness for all the suitable persons predominantly the tribal community of Chhattisgarh
• To offer the demand driven programmes in the University
• To enrich the higher education by bringing the intermittent academic reforms and improving governances and
• To make special efforts to ensure socio-economic development of the region by evolving the intellectual, academic, cultural and natural resources in the region.
